Once installed, it will allow players to bring up a mini console or the full console and begin inputting console commands from the original games. Players will need to install it manually, as it does not currently work with mod managers. The Enable In-Game Console Mod was developed by Mgamerz on Nexus Mods and reliably enables the in game console for all three games included in Mass Effect Legendary Edition.

Though cheats and console commands could be extremely useful when facing husks and Reapers in Mass Effect Legendary Edition, the game effectively blocks players from accessing the developer console.
